Returns to Select U.S. Cinemas for Encore November 17
WHAT: Due to popular demand, “Chonda Pierce: Laughing in the Dark” is coming back to the big screen for a special one-night encore presentation in select U.S. movie theaters on Tuesday, November 17.
This unique event gives an intimate look at the life of America’s number one female comedian Chonda Pierce and how she has overcome many of life’s obstacles through faith and humor. In addition to the docu-comedy, there will be a post-event show, “Finding Light in the Darkness,” including celebrities discussing how Chonda has inspired them.
“This event greatly surpassed our original expectations – fans came out to the theaters in full force and were really moved by Chonda’s story. We’re excited to bring it back for another showing so even more people can experience this thought-provoking documentary,” said Fathom Events CEO John Rubey.
