Day of Wrath: A Time Sensitive Warning To Protect “Soft Targets” In Our Nation From The Threat Of An Attack By ISIS

Black Mountain, NC, March 17, 2015 – William R. Forstchen, PhD, New York Times bestselling author, professor, and military history expert, sheds a critical light on the ruthless offensive conducted by ISIS as well as its direct threat to bring their campaign of terror to the continental United States in his new release, Day of Wrath.

“The burning alive of a prisoner, trapped in a steel cage, sinks ISIS to a level of cruelty beyond our imagining,” Forstchen states.  “It demonstrates that no act of perverted barbarity is beneath them.  It is time to react, as we once reacted to the horrors of Nazism, otherwise we shall become the next victims.”  Adding, “Turn on any news station or social media outlet to see ISIS, an extremist Islamic sect and offshoot of Al-Qaeda, proudly displaying its barbaric acts for all the world to see.  The images are not easily forgotten: mass executions of prisoners, beheading of children, cutting of throats and laughing as they bleed to death, and mass crucifixions of Christians.”

Day of Wrath, released last August, predicted that ISIS will finally launch a major blow within the United States, hitting “soft targets,” with just a handful of small terrorist cells wreaking havoc in an attack more shocking than 9/11. In the months since the release of his book, ISIS has continued to grow in strength, and sink ever lower with its perverted actions and his prediction steps closer to reality.

When a Taliban murder squad hit a school in Pakistan not only did they slaughter 130 children, they also executed a teacher by dousing him with gasoline and setting him on fire in front of his students.  This week ISIS, not to be outdone, filmed the same act, setting fire to a man trapped in a cage.  Is this coming to America? Dr. Forstchen believes it is and is calling for a firm military response overseas, and defensive preparedness at home. . . before it is too late.

Author of more than forty books, William Forstchen presents in fictional form a horrifying but likely scenario of attack. His work is based on an Islamic terror attack against a Russian school in 2004 which left at least three hundred children dead, as well as the methods of terror strikes used by ISIS and other such groups.  This is his first work to go directly to ebook self-publication because of his conviction that this story must reach the public immediately and should be used as a platform for debate as to how to respond and prevent this terrorist threat.

William R. Forstchen, PhD, is a noted expert historian and public speaker and has been interviewed on FOX News, C-SPAN, and Coast to Coast on topics ranging from history to technology and cultural issues, to space technology development, to security threats.  He is a New York Times bestselling author and holds a doctoral degree from Purdue University with a specialization in military history and technology.
