See below for track listing. The album pre-order is underway now. Exclusive signed fan bundles of the album and lithographswill be available on the band’s store.
The band’s tour will include shows at the legendary Troubadour in Los Angeles on September 21 and at New York City’s Mercury Lounge on October 5. Circa Waves will also open for MS MR on a series of dates kicking off at the House of Blues in Houston on September 24. See below for itinerary.
This new video, which premiered on VEVO today, gives fans a sneak peek at Circa Waves’ compelling live show. The clip takes viewers behind the scenes with the band on its recent U.K. tour and features footage of them performing the album’s title track, “Young Chasers.” SPIN named Circa Waves as an artist to watch at Lollapalooza, where they made their U.S. festival debut on the main stage. The band drew a crowd of 20,000 fans at the Reading Festival in the U.K. last weekend and was voted No. 1 in NME’s Fan Poll for “Who Stole Glastonbury 2015.”
“[Circa Waves are] dedicated to the snappy, tautly constructed, guitar-driven rock song…with the relentless rhythm-guitar drive of the Strokes,” noted The New York Times. Billboard tipped the band’s “melodic, guitar-driven” single “T-Shirt Weather” as one of “Tomorrow’s Hits” and SiriusXM AltNation listeners voted the track as one of the Top 10 songs that defined the summer of 2015. “T-Shirt Weather” has more than 10 million streams on Spotify. The official video for “T-Shirt Weather” can be viewed HERE.
Young Chasers debuted in the Top 10 of the Official U.K. Album Chart earlier this year and earned an 8/10 review from NME, which marvelled at how “refreshing, fun and free it all sounds…consider this your permission to pogo.”It’s an adrenaline-fueled album that puts choruses, riffs and hooks to the foreground – from the sparkling  “My Love” and dreamy “Deserve This” to “The Luck Has Gone,” which adds disco beats to the mix, and the exuberant “Best Years.”

“We wanted our live shows to come across on the recording,” explains vocalist/guitarist Kieran Shudall. “You can feel us in that room smashing it out, that was vital to us.”
Circa Waves are: Kieran Shudall (guitar/vocals), Joe Falconer (guitar), Sam Rourke (bass) and Colin Jones (drums). Named as one of iTunes’ “New Artists of 2015” and as a VEVO DSCVR artist, the band has toured extensively with The 1975 and won the coveting opening slot on the 2014 NME Awards tour, after being shortlisted for the Best New Band award.
