Central West Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association Announces 2016-2017 Board of Directors

Mischa Kirby, director of marketing and communications at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, has been named the chapter’s new president.

 

Sarasota, FL. (August 23, 2016) The Central West Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (CWC-FPRA) welcomed its 2016-2017 board of directors and celebrated Chapter Awards winners at its August awards and board induction ceremony at The Francis in Sarasota. The event, which brought back the honored tradition of the passing of the gavel by former presidents of CWC-FPRA, was a celebration of the past year of successes and opportunities for the upcoming year. The board was installed by the state association’s president, Terri Behling, APR, CPRC, external affairs manager for the Southwest Florida Water Management District. Each member will serve a one-year term. Mischa Kirby, director of marketing and communications at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, has been named the chapter’s new president.
