CATFISH AND THE BOTTLEMEN DEBUT NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR “TWICE”
NEW DATES ADDED TO NORTH AMERICAN HEADLINE TOUR KICKING OFF SEPTEMBER 18
July 20, 2016 — New York, NY — Today, BRIT Award-winning UK alternative rock band Catfish and the Bottlemen premiere the music video for their song “Twice” on VEVO. Watch it HERE. “Twice” is available on the group’s chart-topping second album, The Ride, which debuted at #1 in the UK.
The black-and-white video spotlights the quartet doing what they do best: playing live. It’s a fitting snapshot of the kinetic chemistry and energy that defines their concerts.
This summer, the band have delivered show-stopping performances in front of massive crowds at numerous festivals overseas including Glastonbury and T in the Park. NME captured the excitement of the Glastonbury audience claiming, “If the mud wasn’t so thick, the crowd would be causing sub-strata tremors in Colombia.” Reviewing T in the Park, The Guardian said, “Catfish and the Bottlemen are received like returning monarchs.” Stateside, they ignited a similar fervor and enthusiasm among festivalgoers from their main-stage performances at both Governors Ball and Firefly Music Festival.
U.S. audiences have quite a few opportunities to catch them live this fall. Catfish and the Bottlemen expand their upcoming North American headline tour with the addition of four more shows. They’ll now be hitting Los Angeles, CA for an additional show on September 20, Dallas, TX on October 2, Tulsa, OK on October 9, and Norfolk, VA on October 25. Tickets for newly announced shows will go on sale Friday July 22.
Check out the full confirmed itinerary below.
Catfish and the Bottlemen are: Van McCann (lead vocals, guitar), Johnny Bond (lead guitar),
Benji Blakeway (bass) and Bob Hall (drums).
“Such an amazing return.”
“The hooks are bigger; the band is tighter; there’s more self-conscious confidence, as if the album were composed on a stage.”
“‘The Ride’ is confident, self-assured and terrific fun.”
