Cat Depot OPEN FOR 24 HOURS FOR LOCAL online GIVING CHALLENGE

Sarasota, Florida – (May 5, 2014) – Cat Depot will open May 6 at 11 a.m. though May 7 at 7 p.m., more than 24 hours, to drive donations for the 2014 Giving Challenge. Donors will have a chance to double their donation, and help Cat Depot raise $90,000 for homeless, abandoned and injured cats and kittens. It is the cat’s pajama party, and visitors are encouraged to stop by, or stay overnight! Come visit the cats and kittens, watch a movie, and have some popcorn. Look for Cat Depot’s mascot Petunia the Rescue Cat who will be out and about making surprise appearances in Sarasota, Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch during the 24-hour Challenge. In partnership with Bayside Pet Resort & Spa and the Dogs Helping Cats Change Their Destiny campaign, Petunia will be greeting visitors and the dogs on:
· Tuesday, May 6, 3:30 p.m. – Bayside Pet Resort, 8405 Honore Avenue, University Park
· Tuesday, May 6, 4:30 – 6:00 p.m., Bayside Pet Resort, 8154 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota
