The Jazz Club of Sarasota is hosting two events this week.

October 28 Jazz at Two at 2:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church featuring the six piece Sarasota Jazz Project Big Band. Click for tickets and information.
The Center for Architecture Sarasota is hosting two events this week.
October 27 A reception and lecture from 5:30 – 7:30PM. Join architect Marlon Blackwell, FAIA, as he talk about “strategies that seek to transgress conventional boundaries for architecture.” Click for reservations.
October 29 Noted Sarasota history expert and raconteur John McCarthy will lead an historical walking tour “The Citrus Tour” from 5:30 – 7:30 PM. Click for details.
October 28 The Friends of the Selby Library present Mysteries to Die For from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. This event features New York Times best-selling author and latent print examiner for the City of Cape Coral, Florida police department, Lisa Black. Lisa will present her approach to what makes a great crime novel.
October 29 The culmination of the Sarasota Choral Festival that culminates with a concert, Alexander’s Feast by Handel at 4:00 PM. Tickets are available at KeyChorale.org
