Art Walk at the Ubiversity Town Center
corner
The Art Walk at University Town Center is an opportunity for artists to exhibit their visual and performing work one day a month at the area’s premiere shopping mall.

The Art Walk takes place inside participating stores on the second Saturday of each month, November through January and February through May, from 2 pm to 5 pm.

This opportunity is intended to be a win-win. Participating stores hope that having a resident artist” on site will increase foot traffic and encourage their customers to return monthly to see and meet with the artist. Artists are being given their own “mini retail store” in a major shopping mall where they can display their work at no cost!

Participation is limited to members of the Arts and Cultural Alliance. There is no cost to participate and artists are allowed to sell their works. The Alliance does request a donation of 10-percent of sales.

Artists and store managers are required to sign an Alliance agreement of participation. The agreement stipulates the responsibilities of each party and requires both parties to participate from November-January or February through May during the 2015-2016 season.

To complete an exhibit application form, please click here.

For information about membership, please call the Alliance office at 365-5118 x313. If you have questions or want more information, please contact Betty Morris, Events and Volunteer Coordinator, at 809-9304 or [email protected].
