Modern Mobility Options in Sarasota

(Sarasota, Fla.) –Tuesday, September 27, 2016: AARP and Uber will host a roundtable event on how older residents can harness new technology to transform how they live, work, travel, and play. Attendees will hear from Jeff Johnson, Florida Director for AARP; Dr. Kathy Black, Professor of Aging Studies and Social Work at the University of South Florida, Sarasota-Manatee; and Stephanie Smith, Public Policy Director for Uber Florida.

The event will center on how longer life spans are disrupting aging and transforming our society, and how ridesharing has changed mobility within communities.
